 Total area of aquatic farming in Lujhu District is about 530 hectares, with milkfish as the majority. Milkfish farming area is about 480 hectares (about 90%). Milkfish freshwater farming is about 140 hectares while salt water farming is about 340 hectares. The total production volume is about 6740 tonnes.
